Nanquidno Farm is a traditional Cornish farmhouse built in the Victorian era which retains much of its original character, offering homely, spacious and comfortable accommodation in beautiful surroundings.

We are set in a hidden wooded valley in the glorious far south west of Cornwall, close to the coastpath, only 5 minutes walk from Nanquidno cove. We are about half way between Sennen Cove and the small town of St Just.

Nearby are beautiful sandy beaches, stunning coastal and inland walks, ancient sites and stone circles. The unspoilt local environment is a haven for birds and wildlife. On clear nights you can enjoy starry skies free from the lights of the town.

We are situated near Lands End airfield, convenient for trips to the Scilly Isles.

About Us

We have been living in Nanquidno valley for 19 years, during that time we have been busy planting 100s of trees, growing organic vegetables and plants, raising a family and running a B&B in our 6 acre smallholding.
Now our son and daughters have left home to travel the globe, we are expanding our holiday business and inviting you to share our unique location.

You can be sure of a good welcome, as we aim to provide an enjoyable and interesting stay and are happy to share our knowledge of the local area.

Jo is an Arts Practitioner, delivering workshops to people of all ages and abilities.
Steve is an experienced gardener and musician.

 The Far South West

This most southwesterly part of Britain is known as Penwith  (from Cornish Penn=headland and wydh=at the end, i.e. Lands End ) and has a unique character, beauty and history. Surrounded on three sides by the sea, it has an island feel and it is blessed with a mild climate and the bright light which attracts so many artists and photographers to the area. Some of its sheltered valleys have an almost sub-tropical feel.

All around, signs of its long history are still evident, from prehistoric remains of  bronze age villages and ancient worship, to the relics of victorian mining and the industrial revolution and finally to the more recent growth of artists and art galleries.
